When the command "pyversions --supported" includes Python 2.7 in the list then the packages built for that distro will also include a version of the binaries for Python 2.7. I haven't looked at 11.04 yet, but pyversions for 10.10 still listed only python2.6 so that is what is built. My guess is that 11.04 will have both 2.6 and 2.7 in the supported versions list, and so the wxPython packages in their repository should support both as well.
