PyProgress

Hello Evren,

thank you for trying it... Well, I don't know what to think about it, it seems that Windows doesn't like very much this implementation, even if it is just a simple translation of the generic C++ progress dialog. Unfortunately Robin is unavailable this week... I have also tried to call wx.Yield() as Tacao suggested, but nothing has changed. Mhm, I don't really know...

Andrea.

Hi Andrea,

I just tested it on OSX Panther and Tiger.
It runs fine, i.e. if I press the cancel button the dialog gets
canceled. While it is running it does not show a busy cursor.
I ran into similar problems a while ago and finally decided to use a gif
image and update its state so it looks rotating....
At least your troubles show me that it was not necessarily me who
screwed up back then
Maybe Robin can come up w/ an answer next week- at least it seems like
it is a Win specific problem.

Cheers,

Tobias
