Problem with StaticBox Layout

Not sure what you want to appear where but on line 49 your setting the ‘pnl1’ sizer and then again at line 79 your setting the ‘pnl1’ sizer again. This is causing the first sizer to be removed and is why the text controls that were in that sizer are just going to default position on the Panel (upper left hand corner).

Each panel should have its own sizer, and that sizer should only contain the children of that panel not the children of other windows or controls.
