I wish to print numerous items to individual ( non-postscript ) files and so wish to bypass the print dialog;
Unfortunately i cannot see a way to pass output filenames or even print anything without using the dialog.
Is it possible to print to file without the dialog???
Cheers
Stuart
Stuart,
Couldn’t you just save the data directly
to the file without using the print infrastructure at all? Maybe I’m
missing something, but I don’t see how the print dialog gets involved in
saving data to a file. When I generate a report, save as and print are
separate options from the report infrastructure.

I need to save the DC as HPGL2 format and consequently was hoping to use a printer driver to do this.
