As far as I can see only gtk1 and gtk2 are gtk options.

Yep. I still need to test the patch for Classic on Trac, although it doesn't modify the build-wxwidgets or build-wxpython scripts and I expect that they will need some work too. And something will also need to be done for Phoenix.
