"Online wxDocs" or "New wxPyDocs"?

I like the 'New wxPyDocs" layout but I find that the window style and event macros are missing, at least for all the control widgets. Are they documented somewhere else in this new layout that I don’t know about? I know the window style and event macros are documented in the “Online wxDocs”.

Hi,

I don't know about?

You may try the Sphinx-based wxPython docs on my web page:

http://xoomer.alice.it/infinity77/wxPython.html

(I am citing the web page by memory, I do not have external internet access here in Kazakhstan, so I apologize if the web link is not correct).

It should have all the window style/macros, but if this is not the case, please let me know and I will correct the docs.

Andrea.

Wow Andrea! I thought you were from Italy, but this message implies that you live/work in Kazakhstan AND London at the same time! You really get around, don't you?

Just a bit :-D. Actually I do live and work in London, but the
reservoir engineers in Kazakhstan were so impressed by the software
tools I developed here (using wxPython by the way  ) that they
asked me to go there for a week and install the whole package. For the
curious (if any), the main launcher interface is in the wxPython
documentation gallery on my web page:

Other than that, I won't wish to my worst enemy the trip I had to get
there

That looks pretty cool, Andrea. Do you design all your own icons? Is that AUI you're using there? Anyway, it's always fun to look at your stuff. It makes me wonder if I'll ever write something that looks as cool.

Usually I do not design my own icons (unless I need something
oil/gas-related): the icons come from freely available libraries like
nuvola, tango, Crystal Clear and so on... and yes, I used AUI for the
interface. I actually always use wxAUI for the main frames of my
applications, it saves me a bit of sizer's pain and I can use FlatMenu
smootly with wxAUI.

You know, I always thought I wasn't going to write any good software,
but in the end the most different needs of the reservoir department I
work for made me write a bunch of useful applications: IMHO I believe
everyone can do it if he/she has the right ideas (which, for me, came
from other reservoir engineers in the team, so most of the credit is
their) and the time to actually implement the apps. Whatever level of
skill one has, the only way you, I and everyone else can improve is to
write more code
