omitting weekends from wx.calendar.CalendarCtrl?

I have played with the setting of holidays within wx.calendarCalendarCtrl, but weekends appear to always be displayed. Is
there a way to have holidays enabled (so I can highlight selected days…), but not highlight Saturdays & Sundays?
