Wow, what a surprise.

This sounds like a really great opportunity for you and having two very good GUI tools can only benefit the Python community.

Wish you all the best.

How are you going to keep 2 (or 3 if you count Classic) code bases in your brain? I’ve been wanting to learn PySide for a while now too. Is their community very large? I know their docs are lacking.

Two I can manage, and has been how my brain has worked for quite some time. I've usually been able to keep the current and previous release series in my head reasonably well, and lately it has been Phoenix and Classic. Now I expect that Classic will fade away from my active memory, but that's okay since the Phoenix should be rising soonish anyway.

I think it is, but I'm still getting a feel for it.

Traitor!

;->

Personally, I would have preferred if you helped out on PyGUI, because
that has a far more pythonic API imho. But as usual, the best product
is the least lucrative one.

Sincerely,

Wolfgang

I’ve always thought it had promise, but for production work you need something more complete.

And it doesn’t look very active–latest code for download looks to be from July 2011.
