My only problem left is MSW triggers the menu on an ALT press...
On win platforms, a Alt+nnn is more or less reserved for the window/menu management. I think
it's by design. Eg, an Alt+F4 closes a window. The commonly used shortcuts are Ctrl+nnn, Fnn, Ctrl+Shift+nnn.
