You know, sometimes it is the little tidbits that make this list so valuable.
Some time last month (I can't find the reference now), someone posted a hint about building wxPython UIs, suggesting that one should first create all the controls, from the inside out, making sure the parent/child relationships are correct. Then, create the sizers and add the controls to the sizers, from the outside in.
It seems like a little thing, but I went back to a couple of my projects and redid them that way, and that little organizational hint really does seem to make the structure easier to understand.
