Layout of wxCalendarCtrl and i18n

Hello,

i'm writing a i18n application, that usese a wxCalendarCtrl. As the day abrev. is in english 3 chars and in german 2 chars, the layout of the ctrl is a bit unattractive.

Does anybody have hints how to layout the ctrl a bit "wider " in german mode ?
