I'm not sure if this forum is a place for job postings or not but, since you don't find too
many jobs actually asking for wxPython experience I thought I'd post here. My company is in need
for a strong user-interface developer with wide experience with multiple environments, toolkits, and
languages. We are using wxPython & wxWidgets in house so python (plus C++ experience) are
greatly preferred. Need someone who has a strong understanding of the visual representation of
data in both a graphical and textual context and knows how to develop a responsive and
productive user experience. If you are interested please send me a resume (preferably with some
screen shots of some of your work) and I will get you more details.
I'm not sure if this forum is a place for job postings
It is a good forum for job postings, but you might want to give a little more information about the job, like where you are located! This list is read all over the world.

Well I think the email address should be easy to find but the other questions are fair. I
didn't post more details in order to keep the mail size down in case it wasn't considered an
appropriate posting. Also - I figured (apparently incorrectly) that the sheer joy of the possibility of
getting paid to do wxPython development would cause people to send resumes regardless of their
location!
Anyway, the actual job in on the island of Curacao which is part of the Netherland Antilles
in the Carribean. Therefore, we are obviously interested in people who wanna relocate for a while
(preferably a year or more). The client has a generous relocation package and the work
environment is very nice (plus we take days off for snorkeling/sailing/etc...).

These are the days I regret 2 things: the fact that I was/am sooooo lazy. and not listening to my friends 8 years ago when choosing college (I ended up doing biomedical engineering via a failed med school exam. instead of Computer Science)

WOW! If only I were a few years younger and didn't have roots that go so deep...
