Is there a place for new custom controls?

I've noticed there's been interest and requests for a newsticker-style
control for wxPython, so I've gone ahead and written one. Is there a
place thats appropiate to stick it? I don't have web space of my own,
and the wxPyWiki cookbook doesn't seem appropriate. Should I make a
patch to include it in wxPython itself and submit that?

What do you mean by a newsticker-style control?

*ping* the lights came on
I thought it was a "New Sticker" style control, not a "News Ticker" style control.
I think I get it now
