I'm using Debian unstable with everything installed through the
packaging system (apt). It seems that wxPython2.5.3 is installed
alongside python-2.3.5.
I don't seem to be able to find a package for the wxPython demo
software and sourceforge only offers a 2.5.3.1 source download which
when run gives the error:

class DemoTaskBarIcon(wx.TaskBarIcon):
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'TaskBarIcon'
Is this a compatibility issue with the current wxPython install? Any
other advice on this install would be apreciated.
