For reference; the most recent version of PyPE should work with Ubuntu
Dapper Drake 6.06 (I'm not sure of other linux distributions or versions
of Ubuntu), but is not available via the Synaptic package manager.

Sourceforge. Seems to work fine now. Great!I'm a relative newbie to Linux so I hadn't thought of checking for a newer
version. I'm still mystified by the amount of software in those
repositories. Like a kid in a candy store!
