how to open a local file with IEhtmlWindows

Hi,
   Recently I use IEhtmlWindows to show some information of books
include a local link of the book, but when I click the link, it
doesn't work. But for those link which link to internet, it works!
   Can anyone help me?

What does your local link look like? If you load the same document into the real IE browser dose the local link work?
