How to detect if copy of app is already running?

Hello, group!
I want to prevent user from running two copies
of same application.
What is the official way (wxPython way) to do that?
Ideally, when running second instance, it should raise first instance
of application and exit.

Have a look at wxSingleInstanceChecker.
