Hi All,
I am happy to read that wxPython has been accepted in to the
Google Summer of Code 2007. This does not mean wxPython will have one
(or more) project assigned, but it's way a nice start
Quoting Julian Smart (wxWidgets founder and developer), students can
start applying now, so it's worth fleshing out the projects a bit.
We should also probably cull the ones we're less interested in.
Robin has created a Wiki page in the wxPython wiki:
http://wiki.wxpython.org/index.cgi/Google_SoC_Project_Ideas
In the Wiki page, there is also a student application template. For
the interested student (keep coming, keep coming ), I also suggest
the application page created in the wxWidgets Wiki:
http://www.wxwidgets.org/wiki/index.php/StudentApplicationTemplate
