Hi folks,
Just started playing with the wx.animate library and came across a
difference between Linux and Windows XP I can't figure out. On Linux,
everything works as expected - the GIF plays just once as it should with
a transparent background. On Windows, the GIF continuously loops with a
white background. It plays correctly with the Windows Picture and Fax
Viewer app - plays once with a transparent background. I'm using the
same code on both machines. Not sure if it matters but the parent is a
panel that also owns a BufferedDC that I'm using to draw bitmaps. So
basically I want the animated GIF to play on top of bitmaps that I
create. Here are the stats:
Linux Fedora 8
Python 2.5.1
wxPython 2.8.7.1
Windows XP SP 2
Python 2.5.2
