FileDialog and MouseEvents

Hi

When I select a file in a FileDialog via doubble-click, a window lying
under the Dialog receives some mouse events. Thats annoying, if the
window reacts to mouse events...

The attached file shows the behaviour.

I'm using WinXP and still wxPython 2.6.2.1. Up to now I had no time to
update.

Thanks, so this seems to be a problem of wx*.
A bit strange is, that only the main-frame receives these events, if it
is lying under the Dialog. Other frames (from other apps or even the
same app) don't receive the events.

I think that there is already a bug report about this, but you may want to check and see, and if not enter a new one with a category of "wxMSW Specific"

So it is fixed on GTK? The posting from

is about GTK2.

No, I expect that it is still a problem on GTK1 as well.
