Dear anyone:
I have been following instructions on a tutorial website for gaining
access to AccessGrid venue server. As the tutorial instructed, I
first downloaded and installed Activepython 2.4.0. Then I downloaded
wxpython2.4. When I tried to install it an error message indicated
the following: "
No installation of python 2.2 found in registry. Be sure to enter a
pathname that places wxpython on the python path"
I don't know what this means.
Then, I downloaded and installed AccessGrid Tool Kit 2.3.
When I try to run any of these programs I obtain another error message:
"The item 'python.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed
or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Nearest
match based on size, date, and type is C:\python24\pythonw.exe Do you
want to fix this shortcut to point to this target or do you just want
to delete it?"
Does anyone know what is going on here?
THanks for any advice. It may be important beore you phrase your
answers to know that I am not very computer savvy, so I'll need the
sesame street version.
Thanks again,
Patrick
