embed wxPython sample problem

Hi All,

I am using Win XP SP1 and VC++ 6.00, Python-2.4.1, wxPython-2.6.0.1.
and have problems running the embed wxPython sample as follows

1. I get an Assert error due to the Python Window being NULL.
2. RedirectStdio() is not working as it should have produced
    a traceback for the error in 1.

I have set the sample up to have a console Window as well as
the GUI Window and this produces the following in the console Window

wx._core.PyNoAppError: The wx.App object must be created first

Any help greatly appreciated.
