Embed Flash.ocx in wxPython app

I am looking to wrap the Flash.ocx into a wxPython app. I'd like to be able
to utilize the ocx without having to register the ocx with the end user's
windows registry.

Example: End user has Flash version 6 on their machine, and I have Flash 9
content that I want to display in a wxPython application. I have to assume
that I will not be able to upgrade the version of Flash Player on the local
system, and therefore want to access an embedded copy of the ocx.

There are commercial SWF2EXE programs that do this, however my needs are
beyond what those programs can do.

Can anyone lend a hand or point me in the right direction?
