dynamically add styled text control to panel : how to resize to fit the panel?

this works BUT the new control does not EXPAND to fill the panel although that
flag was given to the boxsizer inside the panel

How do I convince this new control to EXPAND to fill the panel ? I tried several
function calls but did not manage to do that ?

Does calling something like:

MyBoxSizer.Add(MySTC, 1, wx.EXPAND)
MyBoxSizerl:Layout()
MyMainPanel.Layout()

work? Otherwise, you may want to post some code snippet that
demonstrate the problem.
