Hi all,
I use python to code cognitive science experiments and thus far I've been using pygame to achieve joystick input, however I've recently updated to python 2.5 (running on Mac OS 10.5) and pygame does not compile for this version of python. So I am looking for a replacement joystick interface and it seems that wxPython is very promising as it is installed by default on Mac OS 10.5.
One problem I'm having is that my joystick is a logitech dual analog gamepad and I can only see methods to get the position of just one of the sticks. Further, in order to get any position data from this one stick, I have to have analog mode turned off on the gamepad. Lack of dual stick input and lack of analog are both critical limitations to my application, so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions?
