is a plus. Good capability with UNIX scripting languages (Perl, Shell,
etc. Large-scale, web based, infrastructure and application development
experience, including integration.
Experience in MQ Series or equivalent messaging infrastructure. Strong
communication skills, and knowledge of latest software development
methodologies, and system troubleshooting skills is also required. From
a technical perspective the EMS will complement existing OMS’s by
buffering them from high trading volumes. The individual should be
self-directed, and possess the ability to switch tasks and reprioritize
their workload frequently.
However, this role has an emphasis on GUI design and development.
Technology-related Bachelors degree.

repository on Sybase IQ.
A technical background and knowledge of Wall Street systems with
expertise in a similar subledger and settlements processing environment
is a plus. Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of leadership experience in
Trading systems preferably supporting a Prime Brokerage business. Must
possess a clear understanding of the structure of equity markets and
exchange behaviour.
Consultation with departments such as Data Administration, Corporate
Finance and Corporate Legal are required. In this role, you will work
with users in building and documenting requirements, and with an IT team
as a developer responsible for all phases of the development lifecycle.
Familiarity with mid or large-scale batch processing applications and
system integration issues. This individual will be responsible for
delivering a suite of future state architectures.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science with 5-10 years of experience
working in Information Technology.
