Does the split tree control work on Linux?

Hi - I was just checking throught the demo, and found that the split tree
control does not seem to be working for me. Is this expected? If not,
I'm open to suggestions on how to figure out what's wrong (nothing gets
printed on the console). I haven't noticed anything else that I would
expect to work on Linux that doesn't.

wxPython 2.3.3.2, Python 2.2.2, wxgtk2.3, running on X 4.2.1.1, using
stock Debian packages (from unstable).

Yes although by default the splitter sash is starting out all the way to the left for some reason...
