Defis: wxPython+Sqlalchemy=RAD

Hello,

I happened to come across Defis:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/defis/

It seems to be the only framework that combines wxPython and
Sqlalchemy. Besides, it seems to be actively developed and
quite extensively documented - but only in russian. Obviously my russian
is inexistant. :frowning:

Has anyone here used this? Is there any documentation in english
anywhere? Apart from the source, of course...

TIA,

Sincerely,

Wolfgang

First time I hear about this, sounds interesting but I get exceptions when I try it (will post on their list about the details).

Did you get it to work?

I haven't found a mailinglist for this project yet.

Without english documentation, I couldn't even tried it yet.

No mailing list but a forum on their sf site.

And it seems that the developers are looking for some sponsor to
finance further development. So if anyone happens to know of someone
who has the money and wants to finally give Python its canonical rapid
devlopment framework for desktop (non-web) GUI applications, this is
the occasion.

Sincerely,

Wolfgang
