create a custom dock windows like vs2008

hi i try to do a custom dock windows for my application but i dont
know how start to do. if toolwindows or panels
i use the aui but no works how i want the pin button and with the
other lib.agw.aui use the toolbars and no use tabs like visual studio
if some one can guide me for create the dock windows?
