Color the sash of a splitter ?

is it possible to the sash of a splitterwindow another color that the default color ?

It depends on the platform. The sash is drawn using a platform theme API, and if all it happens to draw is the borders, then theoretically you should be able to set the background colour of the splitter and the fill area of the sash should end up that colour. But if the platform API fills the sash then you are out of luck.
