Boa or Designer?

wxDesigner does export XRC, though I havn't used that feature.
Also, for what it's worth, the author of wxDesigner, Robert Roebling,

has contributed a great deal to the wxWidgets project, so paying for
wxDesigner is kind of like contirbuting to wxWidgets development.

This seems like a good message to chime in on and also point to
DialogBlocks, written by Julian Smart:

Unlike wxDesigner, it does not have the option to generate Python code.
However, the interface (IMO) is quite good, and feels less clumsy to me
than wxGlade, wxDesigner and XRCEd. (XRCEd is my favorite of those 3 in
terms of feel.)

DialogBlocks is also the first layout editor I've seen that allows
specification of base classes. (Or does boa support this as well?
Haven't used Boa in awhile.)

I must admit I've been a fence sitter for awhile though, I still have 3
layout editors on my Windows quick launch bar..
