I used it but switched meanwhile to wxGlade.
If you don't know wxWidgets so far, than Boa and wxDesigner are a way to go and learn how to structure your application. Boa is free and wxDesigner offers an "evaluation" version (saving of a project is not possible). Test it. Learn it.
I would recommend also, you have a look at wxGlade - which does an excellent job. It comes also "integrated" in the IDE "spe". I prefer wxGlade to wxDesigner. But as always: Have a test ride...
