I've just installed Boa Constructor, having followed the installation
instructions. When I try to run Boa, I receive the following Error on
startup: "global name 'wx' is not defined." I've installed the most recent
versions of Boa and wxPython and am using Windows XP Pro. Any help would be
appreciated. Thank you,
Hi,
Boa constructor only works with wxPython2.4.*
unfortunately. So if you install that version, you'll
be able to use Boa. I guess the cvs is updated. If
you're looking for an open-source python ide with a
gui designer, please feel free to try SPE
(http://spe.pycs.net) which ships with wxGlade to
design guis. SPE works both with wxPython 2.4 and 2.5
Good luck,
Stani
