Any ETA on wxpython 3.x?

I see the wxwidgets 3.0 is out. Is there an ETA for getting wxpython to 3.0?

Hi Dan,

I see the wxwidgets 3.0 is out. Is there an ETA for getting wxpython to 3.0?

No idea when there will be a release of it but their are snapshots of wxPython-Phoenix based on wxWidgets 3.0.

Unfortunately progress is a little slow, it looks like Robin is very busy and finds less time to work on wxPython, but there is also lots others can help with. Especially testing and helping the porting effort to Py3 of wx.lib stuff.

That sounds like it will be a while. Probably too late for the next

I'll plan accordingly. Thanks!

yes and that could be an issue, Ubuntu is planning move all to Python 3 for the next year so that version will come preinstalled by default in the distro toox, many apps was already ported to that version and the job continue…
