Announcing: Fonty Python - a TTF font manager for Gnu/Linux

Hello all,
I have (finally) released my font manager for Gnu/Linux. I'm calling
it "Fonty Python" for obvious reasons

(Sorry Windows users - go and look for a free app called "The Font Thing"
it rocks).

Thanks to the great members of the wxPython list for all the help you gave
me since I started it.

With Fonty Python you can select ttf fonts and put them into "pogs" (from
the word typography). You can place fonts into pogs from a folder or from
another pog. You then install the pog you need. After that, you fire-up
Inkscape and those fonts *should* appear in the font dialogue. Do your
design, and when you are done and don't need them anymore, you simply
remove the pog! It's there for next time. It really helps to keep fonts
organized per project/client/job, whatever.

If you are interested in trying it out, you can get it from:
https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/fontypython

I am working on a more advanced gui version at the moment, but it will still
share the same command-line goodness that the 0.1.3 version does. It's much
faster though because I delay importing wx until after I process the
command line - so look out for version 0.1.4!

Cheers, and thanks again.
Donn Ingle.
