Has the issue with py2.7 builds where the libraries do not work on PPC
(OS X 10.4) been fixed ??
I get this problem (with 2.8.11) when creating an app (with py2app) on
my Intel 10.6 box. It should work on OS X 10.4 PPC hosts but it
doesn't. The problem does not exist with the 2.8.11 py2.6 builds.
Thanks,
Brendan.

The 2.8.12.0 release of wxPython is now available for download at Redirecting.... This release has no major new
features or enhancements, but there have been plenty of bug fixes
since the last stable release.
Source code is available as a tarball, and binaries are also available
for Python 2.6 and 2.7, for Windows and Mac, as well some packages for
various Linux distributions in the wx apt repository. Binaries for
Python 2.5 have been discontinued.
I believe so, but you'll need to try it out to see for sure. AFAIK nobody in the testing group has that combination of HW and OS.

Fantastisch !! I wasn't expecting this as there were no announcements,
but now that I know I will go ahead and test for this (after Easter) and
report my findings
Cheers, Brendan.

I can confirm that my wxPython app now works on OS X 10.4 PPC, when
built on and OS X 10.6 Intel box with py2app, Python-2.7.1 and
wxPython-2.8.12.0.
Thanks, Brendan.
