I found the wxWindows' HTML Book (HTB) format and associated viewers
to be an excelent mean to store and display programming reference
manuals. Therefore I've tweaked my htmlhelp-build-o-matic (TM) machine
to also create HTBs for several Gnu/Unix and other packages (such as
autotools, make, python, etc.) They are available at:

In case you don't know already you can use wxWindows's 'helpview' or
wxPython's 'helpviewer' to view these books.
