This is by design. You may not have noticed it, but ALL of your theme-compliant Windows apps behave this way now. It is a system-wide user preference. If you want to go back to the way it used to be, right-click on empty space on your desktop, pick Properties, Appearance, Effects, and clear the "Hide underlined letters until I press the Alt key" checkbox.
