Hi,
I am running Python 2.3, wxPython 2.5.1.5 on Suse Linux 9.0 - the demo runs fine and so do my 2.3.2.1 applications. However I am having problems with PyPE and wxGlade.
In both cases the apps seem to start up OK but don't get much further.
In the case of PyPE file->new causes the app to freeze. File->open does better, I see the class level view and opening a class I see the def level but then no more - the def level has no + icon and fails to open. No errors show.
wxGlade is no better - the initial 3 windows show up but then, following the tutorial, trying to add an initial frame causes a type error and stack trace.
Both apps are the latest downloads, but still use the wxPython namespace. Does anybody have these apps running under 2.5.1.5, if there were there problems how were they solved ?
Any suggestions
Thanks - bernard
I run PyPE 1.9.2 on wxpython 2.5.1.5 on WinXP
what I can say is the fact that PyPE is not 2.5.1.5 ready, I can use it with 2.5 BUT I do get tracebacks, the overview cannot be updated...
PyPE is a quick hack dressed with good stuff... if Josiah doesn't clean the code nobody will
